Do you deny that over 500,000 apartments in California are occupied by illegals and this has an effect on rent prices?

Yes or no?

No. The illegals do not live 7 to an apartment and many have homes or live with legal family and others live in provided facilities.

And do you deny that the number of living units used by illegal aliens has decreased significantly over the past decade while homelessness has increased?

And do you really claim that the large number of illegals ten years ago was living in huts in the desert?

Face it. Your position is absurd. The number of illegals aliens has gone down in the same period the number of homeless has gone up.

If one actually believed your nonsense the sensible thing to do would be increase the number of illegals so the number of homeless would go down.

So you really believe these 4 million people have a negligible effect on the supply of housing...

Wow.

The most terrifying thing is your vote counts the same as mine.

So, you are saying demand has zero influence on price?

Nope. I believe the decrease in the number of illegal aliens increased the supply of housing.

But other factors obviously increased the number of homeless.

If the decrease in the number of illegal aliens decreased the supply of housing than you must believe that increasing the illegal population would increase the supply of housing.

I would be careful though about saying that in public. People will think you are nuts.

So you DO agree that more illegals = less available housing.

So illegals cause housing to cost more.

Are you trolling or???

I agree that less illegals would make more housing available. Which is the case of the last decade.

So it would appear that illegals do not have a significant effect on housing availability in CA.

You have trouble with the facts? Are you trolling the thread?

Many of them work for cash evading taxes also. They only pay $19 billion a year in taxes while they cost us over $100 billion a year!

Living two or three families to a house when they have numerous kids does not cover the costs of educating them either via property taxes. If Americans got their jobs back from them they in turn would be paying income and sales taxes again.
Has it ever occurred to you that american businesspeople recruit and hire "these illegals" because "these illegals" work cheap? These illegals aren't taking these jobs, these jobs are handed to them. And remember, the tsunami of illegal immigration in California took place in the '80's, '90's and part of the 2000's. By comparison it was down to almost a trickle until 2017, 2018, when someone created a fake issue out of it, scaring more undocumented immigrants to get here if and while they could, and at the same time scaring voters into walking his way.
