How is this NOT asking Ukraine to interfere??
Well the impeachment will probably happen because it's just partisan nonsense, but there was never any chance Trump would be removed from office.

Again though, asking someone to look into potential corruption isn't "asking to interfere" and that's really not something you can sell to many outside the Trump derangement syndrome crowd.

It's another example of selling high crimes and delivering nothing. This is just the next version of the Russia hoax.

I didn't vote for the guy, and I won't vote for him this time either, but I am really interested in seeing what Russia hoax 3.0 will be during Trump's 2nd term.

Also, you can keep repeating the lie that the prosecutor wasn't investigating the company that he was fired for investigating but it won't get you anywhere.
Vitaliy Kasko, a prosecutor in Shokin's office, told Bloomberg that the case was dormant at the time of Joe Biden's intervention: "There was no pressure from anyone from the US to close cases against Zlochevsky. It was shelved by Ukrainian prosecutors in 2014 and through 2015."

"Shokin was not investigating. He didn't want to investigate Burisma," Daria Kaleniuk, executive director of Ukraine's Anti-Corruption Action Center, told the Washington Post for a July article. "And Shokin was fired not because he wanted to do that investigation, but quite to the contrary, because he failed that investigation."

Biggest mid-term win by Democrats in roughly 40 years. Democrats don't tend to turn out in mid-terms the way Republicans do - and last year THEY DID, and they'll turn out in even bigger numbers next year.

Ah so after his boss was fired for investigating the company, they found someone to say that there was no investigation at all. Or that he was actually fired for NOT investigating the company.... which no future prosecutor picked up.

I mean you do know that the company certainly felt like he was investigating them right?

They wouldn't have hired Biden's crackhead son if they didn't think they were being investigated. Your rhetoric fundamentally fails.

Trump should have been removed from office when he was sued for sexual harassment by that state employee who accused him of exposing himself to her and telling her to “kiss it.” When it was then revealed that he was having an affair with a 24-year-old White House intern and lied about it under oath he should have been driven from office. And now that he’s been caught asking another head of state to investigate a political rival for criminal activity that’s the last straw. Trump must go!!

"Hunter Biden did not violate any Ukrainian laws -- at least as of now, we do not see any wrongdoing," Shokin's successor as prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, told Bloomberg. Of a 2013 business transaction that was part of the investigation, Lutsenko said, "(Hunter) Biden was definitely not involved. We do not have any grounds to think that there was any wrongdoing starting from 2014."

On one hand, you have people in the prosecutor's office (both during Shokin's time there and after) all saying no investigation of Burisma existed in 2014 or 2015. On the other, what do you have? A bunch of speculation and conspiracy theory with no one backing it up?

In other words... reach the conclusion first, THEN work backwards to find the evidence for it. That's worked out really well for the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) so far.

Correct. He's also calling them out for their fake news. There has been no subpoena issued.

Yeah, it took them 40 years. Republicans had big wins in 2012 and 1994. Much more recent!

Interesting you already know the turn out for next year. Be careful with predictions (remember 2016).

It’s pretty sad to see Trump’s base in such blatant denial.
