I've noticed an recently increased use of the phrase "their ilk" in the posts of a regular here.
It's a old Scots phrase I once used rather often here, both to honor the ancestors and to describe Trump...and his ilk.
However, since its use (and misuse) is becoming irritatingly common lately, I think I will drop it in favor of less shopworn descriptions that carry the same connotation.
Imitation isn't always the most sincere form of flattery, after all.

No, they have not....you do understand there needs to be....you know that pesky thing called EVIDENCE....that you have to provide.
So, lets say I'm wrong.....why is pelosi not going for impeachment? She owns the house.....if she has evidence.....why not go forward? It's been longer than 2 years of investigation....IMPEACH I tell you....do it.....really....

It's corrupt to hire a crackhead with no qualifications for the job other than being the son of a politician in order to get that politician to use their office to get a prosecutor fired and effectively end an investigation into corrupt business practices.

Even after joe biden says, you won't get money unless you fire "this guy."....
Now, saying that, yes there were other countries that were mad at "this guy" but "this guy" only got fired when joe biden said, you won't get paid? Why did it take joe biden to get "this guy" fired?
The sequence of some of the texts is interesting. Curious whether or not any Trump supporters can explain this away?

The first time Taylor asks Sondland cuts him off. Taylor and Sondland have that phone call. And Taylor's take - after speaking with it to Sondland - is that Trump's withholding security assistance for political advantage. At which point, Sondland comes back with this formal statement for a record. And says, Bill ... STOP TEXTING.
That strikes me as somewhat incriminating.
