Biden was clear: he did not want to investigate Ukrainian AG- he wanted him fired and replaced with the “solid” one- whatever that means?
Absolutely. Interestingly, to those lying Dems who claim to want to get to the bottom of something (and forget about launching an impeachment inquiry even before getting the whistle blower report and the transcript that was a nothing burger and merely called for Ukraine to investigate corruption of the last administration a la Biden), why isnt it that they have not called for hearings and investigations into Biden and Obama after Biden is in video bragging that he threatened to withhold 1 billion in aid from Ukraine if they didn't fire the prosecutor investigating his son? The stupidity and hypocrisy is astonishing. I do not like everything President Trump does. Far from it. But this ongoing effort by deep state actors, Dems, and the media to disgracefully attack the 2016 election results makes me even more firmly a Trump supporter.
Previous President did it: according to Biden. Unless Biden was lying and bluffing to Ukrainians in order to fire their AG.
So either the Biden-Obama did exactly what Trump is accused of doing or Biden lies to the world ..that former President did it.
We need to investigate both Obama and Trump then? The same subject, the same occasion, the same money...
Think of it: the US taxpayers - you- provide a foreign country - Ukraine- with a lot of money- to the tune at least $6 billion, could be more...
The government of Ukraine is allegedly corrupt and the AG who investigated the corruption- including questionable $3 million paid to Biden’s son for the expertise he does not possess- has been fired at the insistence of US ( Biden can not deny that- he says so himself)
Why would the President of US continue to pour money into their coffers under the circumstances?
It would be just stupid. It is prudent to hold onto our money until we could be assured- that the money used according to the purpose of the this aid.

More on point, whatever one may think about Hunter Biden’s worth to Burisma he was not being investigated for fees the company paid to him personally or to his firm. No charges or allegations were made against Hunter Biden by Ukraine. The allegations instead have come from actors like Giuliani and Trump for their benefit. Giuliani travels the world cashing in on his ties to Trump with his consulting business raking in millions. Giuliani’s worth to Trump comes from his spreading conspiracy theories and acting as Trump’s personal prosecutor.
The Burisma investigations involved money laundering and tax invasion - again having nothing to do with Hunter Biden.

There are multiple forms of corruption in play. Burisma may well have been avoiding taxes etc but it’s yet to be proved. Shokin was widely considered to be personally corrupt - allegedly involved soliciting bribes for NOT actively conducting investigations. The problem was not that investigations were being completed in the Ukraine with charges brought but they were not. You have the situation reversed.
Who is impeaching, and who is being impeached? Who has 30 Senate republicans convinced to get rid of Trump, and whose people are throwning each other out of windows to try to save their own behinds?
