False.

Most of the polling since Pelosi's announcement has been split pretty much 50-50.

And a good thing too. I believe CIA officers take an oath to protect America from enemies both foreign and domestic.

And the orange menace and his unlawful behavior right now constitute one of the biggest domestic threats to the USA.

What is terrific is, this whistleblower is no hack. He(she) is a seasoned professional, with a background in exactly the kinds of sins Trump committed here. Trumpees are trying to portray this person as a clerk who got their information second hand, and this is anything but that.

No matter how Trump and his minions try to spin this one, this is serious business, and they know it. My guess is, Trump will hear the words "You're FIRED !" (how apropos ! ) and will cut a deal with Pence to give him a full pardon, if he leaves peacefully.

All of this is so Nixon-like, it is scary.

Do you always live in a fantasy world? How you know this how ?

You knocked the ball out the ballpark with this post!

You want to impeach Obama too? Have at it.

"But the Democrats" deflecting is totally irrelevant. Unless you just want to argue for a total abandonment of rule of law.

Do you think it's OK for a president to withhold promised aid(taxpayer funds) then ask for a favor to be followed up with his personal attorney regarding investigating a political rival?

Hunter Biden was not a target of the prosecutor. Ukraine's prosecutor general said he had no evidence of wrongdoing against either Biden.

This was more than a lone whistleblower. He mentions that as many as a dozen of White House operatives were providing him information. That more than suggests that this was a coordinated effort to get the word out to Congress and the American people about the risk they perceived to our nation from Trump's behavior. I wonder where Bolton was in this?

No surprise John Brennan is it admitted communist, voting for a communist president in the United States in the 70s. Who actually does that? I know of nobody that has. To our leftist here voting for a communist is normal, of course they support him.

No kidding !! How America allowed this to happen to us is something scholars will debate for decades. If you sweep everything else out of the way, like Trump's corruption, his dishonesty, his nepotism , his playing footsies with foreign governments, etc., the one thing that no one can deny is that Trump SIMPLY HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL HE IS DOING IN THERE !

He has never had any experience with being in government or politics, all he has done is buy and sell real estate, and run his mouth for his entire life. He thought this would be so easy, come in, make a few deals with other countries, stoke the fires of discontent with things like "The Wall", and it would be like buying a building somewhere. Well, I guess he found out differently, didn't he ?

He found out he has people to answer to now, people watching his every move, he has to play by the rules, and he can not wheel and deal like he did in his former life.

America needed this past almost 3 years to shake us up and show us that we can not take our Democracy for granted. We felt impervious and safe, and here comes a wannabe Hitler, and he actually gets a toehold into our freedom and way of life. I just hope we learned a lesson here, and do not ever let this happen again.
