Trump doesn't believe in "The people". He believes whatever his fantasies cook up.

You'd think after 3 years you could come up with a fresher line. This is really old.

Twitter is just pure one sided messaging from the sender, he can say whatever he wants unchallenged. If GW Bush could have press conferences through out his 8 years then Trump can certainly do the same. Shouting for 5 minutes over a helicopter is not a professional medium and he only presents his side of the story. Why cant he answer the most simple question instead of going off the deep end as he did with the meeting with the Finland Prime Minister.

I agree with Goodnight. Basically, Trump can't take the heat. He is not going to give the press a chance to ask hard questions because he just isn't smart enough to give cogent answers, and knowing that he has responded poorly would be way to bruising to his fragile ego. So he tweets in the middle of the night when no one can correct or question him.

Strange, the reality is Trump is giving nearly daily briefings, and answering questions.

It is unprecedented for the press to have this much direct access to the President.

Trump doesn't want anyone representing him.

He'd rather conduct impromptu press briefings, via screaming at the press every day on the White House lawn over the sound of the helicopter.

He's too busy dodging subpoenas and blocking everyone from talking.
