I live in a 400 square foot space. Heat, AC, refrigeration, cooking etc. is all electric (BC's power is 96% hydro) I have been paying a carbon tax since 2008 and I drive a very fuel efficient car, but have only 6500 km on it in three years. (planning to go electric when the infrastructure is in place) My investments are mainly in evironmental markets.... Not much more I can do personally, but I'm optimistic that government and industry will do their part.
Wow! You singlehandedly made up for all of Asia and Africa's pollution!
My guess is that you are also on some sort of public assistance and pay very little if any taxes, have never created wealth or jobs...

LOL....You would be wrong on all counts....Three years ago I sold my business, and gave away over a million to my three kids..My tax bill the year I sold was in excess of $200,000.....I live in a mini home because of the advantages...I'm single and dislike house work and yard work.

That’s great, but what about the parts of the world that do not have access to sufficient hydropower resources? There aren’t many rivers left to dam. Unfortunately, coal is still the fastest growing source of energy globally.
Nuclear fission is a carbon free energy source, but it has its risks. Here in the USA, we have actually been phasing out nuclear power and replacing it with natural gas.
The reality is this: carbon dioxide emission rates are going to keep rising, unless someone finds a way to make nuclear power cheaper than coal and natural gas, (including the cost of disposing the nuclear waste.)
There are new “small modular reactors” that might eventually become competitive with coal and natural gas, but only time will tell.
In the meantime, why not campaign for government research and support of new nuclear reactor technologies?
We've only kept temperature records for 140 years. The Earth has existed for 4,5+ BILLION years !!! I'll let one of Y'all who are smarter than me, figure out the small percentage of Earth's existence. It ain't enough time to say it's the hottest ever month.

I don't think you know what the term recorded means.

Nope, not nuclear. I don't think nuclear is the path we should take.
