She never got any benefit from it. Never received affirmative action, she got where she is by skill and merit alone
BS, Harvard Law touted her as their "first woman of color faculty member." WHAT color? White?
Penn listed her as a (racial/ethnic) minority faculty member who won a prestigious award in their Minority Equity Report. Exactly WHAT racial/ethnic minority was she?
No, they did not. The facts and differences are there, if you care to see them.
No difference whatsoever. Dolezal pretended to be Black. Warren pretended to be Native American. BOTH enhanced their professional careers by adopting their ruses.

There's no evidence whatsoever that Warren didn't "make up" her own family stories, as well. Regarding her grandparents supposed "elopement" due to bigotry? WHY was the wedding reception reported by the local newspaper if the eloped marriage was supposed to be such a "secret?"
So, where did you get your talking points? They are incorrect. There are articles out there that quote cousins of Warren's family. And the article in the paper covering the "wedding reception" actually states that the two young people did in fact marry suddenly and rather secretively. But that has NOTHING to do with the heritage of them whatsoever. In those years, it wasn't uncommon for a person of some Native American heritage to "pass" if they were light-skinned enough. In the 1800s in Oklahoma, being Native American meant you were less than. So it may well have been that was the case. Nobody knows. But when Warren had a DNA test, her results were consistent with the stories she had been told. She is not on any tribal rolls. That doesn't mean she doesn't have a Native American ancestor.
Can you somehow prove that Elizabeth Warren was, as Harvard Law School stated, their first "woman of color" faculty member?
That information was all over the place when it made the news the first time. IIRC. she was already hired and on the payroll when given the form to fill out for faculty information. She said she put it there as a matter of interest. The school took it and ran.
IDK if it is from family lore or whatever. IMO, many people from Oklahoma claim NA ancestry, now that is no longer a source of family shame.
My Oklahoma SIL is 1/4. She never said a word about it for years. But she couldn't hide it, either.
There is one place earlier where the NA connection was included in Warren's cv that I considered iffy. But I can no longer locate it.
Whatever source I give you will be considered fake news.
I'm center slight left. No, it is a big deal. She gamed the system for decades. It shows someone's character. She knew that she's wasn't Native American, her shtick about "oh, it was stories handed down in the family" Give me a break. I buy that argument to a degree, but not enough to where she's using it on government forms and trying to claim minority status. There has be something more than, Oh, that's just what my family told me nonsense. She's a typical lying ass politician.
She said that she had some American Indian ancestry. Trump bet her $1 million if she would take a DNA test. She took the test, and it showed that, yes, she does have some American Indian heritage, albeit a very small percentage. Trump did not pay up on his lost bet. Who is the liar?
They BOTH committed racial identity misappropriation.
If you think that is going to be a major campaign issue, I think you will be very disappointed. Trump's base are the only ones who care, and the loyal base is not big enough to hurt her if they care so very much about Warren's "lies" (which is an ironic joke in itself), because the issue you are going on and on about will not hold a candle to the lies that will continue to come out regarding this administration.
I am a tad older than Warren. Small town local papers printed all kinds of news on their society page back in the day.
DH's sister married. The whole town was at the reception because the family could write it off as a business expense. There were people there neither she nor the groom knew. DH and I eloped because we didn't want that kind of circus. We had nice church wedding with a witnesses at a neighboring town. When we told, there was an announcement in the paper. And we had to have a reception. Pictures were in the paper, too.
Because some know no one with her experience does not mean she is lying.
