No it isn't silly. It is accurate. Banning guns from law abiding citizens won't stop head cases and criminals from doing what they do. They will absolutely find an alternative method to do what they do.
Be glad it is guns and not pressure cooker IED's. Or hijacked buses. Or a hi-jacked semi hauling gasoline. That is my point. Denying law abiding people their rights is never the answer nor is punishing the innocent. The left of course says not to profile. That is unless it is their cause.

Either mental illness or a president who constantly trashes the homeless, calling them disgusting and disgraceful (while not offering any solutions of course).

The suspect has been arrested at least six other times in the past two years, three of them for assault. His relatives say he’s had a history of drug use since he arrived in the US from the Dominican Republic a few years ago. His mother kicked him out after he assaulted her. It happened at a bar during the wee hours. One of the shooters had been denied service earlier in the evening due to having created problems in the past. He was tossed out and returned later with a buddy and guns. Entered through the back door.
