What amazes me is I thought Trump would clear out the religious Right that wants endless wars to fight over 1000 year old dilapidated temples so we can reclaim the holy land.
I have no idea how any religious person would point to Trump as some figure to be admired for his conduct.
Now you might support him as President despite religious beliefs vs his actions as I think both parties actions sort of requires this, although Trump is on another level compared to past Presidents. But to say he has a religious mandate from GOD? Nuts.
Let me see if I understand your post: you think the Kurds are Christian?
Yes, a small percentage of Kurds are Christian. The remainder are Muslim; the type of Muslim that abhors groups like ISIS, for the Kurds are, mainly, tolerant of other religions. Hence they were our allies against ISIS, doing most of the heavy lifting.
Even if they were chimpanzees, they fought by our side and should not be willy-nilly abandoned. In August they began to dismantle their defenses along the Syrian-Turkish border, counting on the USA to keep intact a 'safe area' for them. While we had few troops along the border, they acted as a 'trip wire'.

No, we fought on THEIR side, not the other way around. It is on THEIR land, not ours....
Personally I wish he would bring all our troops home from the Iraq and Afghanistan as well!

The hell does all of this have to do with my post or the one I was responding to?
First sign of Trump's base cracking? I'm not getting my hopes up, but it is interesting to see Pat Robertson finally saying something critical about Donald Trump.
A Protestant Minister citing ancient Chinese pagan concept that was specifically invented to facilitate imperialism, through its primary aim of legitimizing foreign rulers, seems about right.
Yeah, about 1% are. So is it your contention Robertson is only upset about that 1%?
