I think you, and the article, are very much exaggerating and misleading here. Let's be clear that asking if something is "inappropriate" is not the same thing as calling it "corrupt."
But what really makes me smile is that Hunter's doings are so minor compared to what's been going on for decades in the Trump family. Hunter's activities might have raised an eyebrow then, but I can't even imagine what Brokaw would say about the Trump nepotism today.
Right over their heads, honey. Right over their heads.
Guess having his daughter and son-in-law ensconced in the WH is not an issue for you? Guess having dignitaries and diplomats staying at Trump properties, filling their pockets, is not an issue for you? Good to know. You guys are so funny. Trump is the most corrupt businessman there is, and he's a threat to the corptocrats. Hahahaha That's rich.
What is corrupt about having family members as advisors to the president? At least this is not like JFK (D), where he had his brother appointed as the US Attorney General.
It's not as if Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, or Barack Obama could have appointed their daughters as advisors.
It is? I have a great job, my 401k is larger than ever, crime stats in my city are at an all time low. If that's destroyed I want more!
You are not supposed to challenge the emotional rhetoric mouthed by leftists and Democrats.
The left, and the Trump-haters can't back up their rhetoric with facts or the truth, so all you will get is an earful of spittle-flecked screeching with more red-faced, over emotional rhetoric.
The same was true 4 years ago when Obama was president.
The economy was trying to grow, in spite of Obama's anti-business policies, and his gloomy predictions, talking down the US economy. As soon as Trump was elected, it was like the elephant was removed from everyone's back.
In 2018
Two-thirds of voters polled, 66 percent, said in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday they would characterize the economy as “excellent” or “good.” Quinnipiac noted that figure is the highest rating since it began asking the question in 2001.

I don't know if you paid attention to your own poll, but the last reading on it is only a little higher than it was in late 2014.

I can almost keep from laughing when Trump supporter say it's because of "policy", but the guys that white knight Trump as some sort of 'reformer' get me in stitches.
Now, it got as high as 108+ last year, but that it's already fallen by 7 points would indicate their optimism was a bit too optimistic.
Also, this is an attitudinal poll on small businesses. There's a lot more to the economy than the relative optimism of small businesses.
