What we really need is a forum for intelligent discussions. The fact is, a high percentage of the posts here are trolling, trying to needle the other side, rather than serious discussions about issues.

I am somewhat a fiscal conservative but a social liberal. The problem is that I might disagree with Warren's tax the rich but at the same time agree with Mayor Pete gay rights issues. I might support some form of health insurance that attempts to cover a majority of CITIZENS without giving free healthcare for all. I agree with lessening our dependence on fossil fuels without rushing it in 12 years or the world will end scenario.

I think a majority of members have moderate views like mine but we get drowned by a vocal minority from the right and left. I think we should leave things as they are. It is more entertaining that way.
I think instead of Republicans and Democrats, it should be Conservatives, Liberals, and Moderates. That would cover it all. I'm a very conservative Independent so could post in the conservative or sometimes moderate sections....

Why? Does arguing with someone with whom you disagree ideologically scare you?

Oh wait, I'm talking with a liberal, of course you would want me censored.

I manage to say exactly what I think here, always from a single account, while doing the best I can to conform to the TOS. And I think you should do the same.

That isn't trolling.

What you propose to do is trolling from a ghost account. Maybe you should review the TOS.

But - you do you.

It is not a bad idea in theory. All you may be doing is creating another partisan echo chamber though. There are enough of those.

How does it censor you? The main forum still exists. A forum for the right would exists. And you would not be banned from going into a lib forum, just from trolling it.

What's wrong with an 'echo chamber'? A bunch of people who think the same way discussing an idea scares you somehow? I don't get it......

How about a forum to discuss policy, since it's always about policy?
