no i'm not.

even assuming that it was the venue that was selecting the music and not the campaign ( which, IMO, is a huge stretch especially seeing as the campaign has admitted to selecting the music at past rallies ) the campaign would still have due diligence to inform the venue NOT to play any prince songs so as to not violate their agreement with the prince estate.

Your post said that the "generally" the arena has an open license. The reality is that generally they don't - they have a license to use the music for their events and others have to bring their own license to play music.

Semantics aside, Trump keeps using music in violation of U.S. law.

Ignorance in no excuse. Cease and desist letters have been sent.

Now I realize that the music of Kid Rock or Ted Nugent doesn't hold a candle to that of Prince, or the Rolling Stones, or Springsteen, or ... But to spread bogus BS about how the venue has the right or the Prince estate already has enough money is just ignorant.

To be fair, violations copyright law is small potatoes to the other laws Trump is violating, but still.

He is knowingly violating the law and needs to stop.
