I thought guns were banned in Chicago. If they banned guns then why are there guns? When the government bans guns then there should be no guns, right?

I say Chicago needs a concealed gun law or to actually do something about the impoverished areas of Chicago.

The availability of guns has absolutely NOTHING to do with the crime spree hitting chicago and anyone who thinks so is a fool.
Do you REALLY think gangbangers are going to legitimate gun stores or your local walmart to buy ammunition? No they are getting them off the streets, through the illegal means anyways. So banning guns is only gonna prevent honest people from having protection, guns would still litter the streets from illegal dealers and other methods
I have no idea whats really causing the recent surge in violence. A lot of people will blame impoverishment and general lack of welfare for causing the violence, but theres nothing you can (or should) do about that, so i have no idea. Maybe chicago needs to up the taxes and invest more money into the police force

Sounds like a failure of community police work. Seems the Chicago cops are as lenient with dope traffickers as they were with the bootleggers of the 20's. The traffickers use violence because they have no recourse to law to settle their differences.
Chicago does not have enough guns in the hands of the law abiding civilian population not too few.

I don't think of these as gang-bangers, I think of them as Chicago Militiamen exercising their second amendment rights.

Did anyone ever think about blaming crime on criminals? What a novel concept.

So you are saying that a crime can only be committed when a law is broken?
Or that only 'career' criminals break the law?
That people who are civil disobedient as a form of protest can only be criminals?
