How will George W. Bush rank among U.S presidents?

Worst ever...one of the best.......I have read critiques that say both, where would you rank him?

Isn't that a scary thought. It is at that time I will leave America for whoever lets me in.

I will only come back to watch the public hanging of bush the Dictator. He needs to hang for war crimes against humanity and hang from the same rope as Saddam Hussein.

The newest like 30 threads, except for one, all have subjects concerning McCain, Obama, and Clinton. So no, I am not going to search everyone to see if this topic has been covered within the other topics being discussed. This is a political based thread, there will be repetition, get over it.

Thumbs down as a leader

I’m sorry but the nicest way that I can say it is ~ he’s the worst thing that happened to America. I saw it from the day he sat in the Florida classroom reading the book while 9/11 was occurring in New York. And from that day on he continues to amaze me with the stupidity and inability to be any type of leader. He failed at running businesses and he failed the country at the one time we needed leadership.

Why wait? It seems you hate this country, it's president and even the president's brother (for what?). I'm curious....what country do you think is better than this and why don't you move?

I know if I had such strong feelings I would certainly move.

Time, of course, will tell....But my guess is that in 10-20 years through the filter of what happens with radical islam, President Bush will be thought of as a strong, courageous leader who understood the evil that others tried to ignore. Also that he had the strength to do what he felt needed be done without being swayed by popular opinion. A rare ability in recent presidents.

You can't judge a President until 25 or so years have gone by. I think Bush will be remembered negatively on economic issues and especially gas prices more than he will be for the war.

That's interesting, I would think if anything stuck with him through time it would be the war, and your right only time will tell if that will become a positive or negative for him.
