Half of the African continent recently greeted Bush as a deity as he has done more to stem the advance of AIDS than any other individual in history. Israel doesn't hate us- they just invited him to a V.I.P. ceremony to celebrate their 60th year of existence...not exactly a sign of "hate". Kuwait doesn't hate us- they wouldn't be around to hate anything if it weren't for us saving them from a hostile takeover. Thousands of flood, cyclone, and earthquake victims across the globe don't hate us- they've received the most money in humanitarian aid in any 8 year period ever from...us! So, by "world" you mean Syria, Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela? Please qualify your statement. And again, try to go with facts instead of left wing talking points this time.

Ask anyone from another country and watch their eyes roll when they talk about Bush - it's not good. This is from countries that should like us.

Bush’s AIDS program was just another taxpayer gift to the pharmaceutical corporations, aimed at shutting down genetic pharmaceutical production in a number of countries such as Brazil, Thailand and India. The US government forced bilateral trade deals that will prevent the export of these drugs and force poor countries to buy from the US pharmaceutical giants.

In October 2003 he appointed the former CEO of Eli Lilly, Randall Tobias, to head up his ‘Emergency Plan for AIDS’. Tobias defended his appointment and complete lack of experience of dealing with AIDS, claiming he would “get a better deal” with the drug companies for antiretroviral AIDS drugs. In other words, Tobias will use the government tax dollars to buy AIDS drugs from US corporations at their inflated prices—often up to 10 times more than the price of generic versions.

The program, announced by Bush in his visit to Africa, was supposed to spend $15 billion over the next five years to fight the AIDS pandemic. Bush abandoned the UN-backed Global AIDS initiative, giving only $200 million—6.6 percent of the total needed in 2004, causing other nations to follow the lead of the US, so that the UN report on HIV/AIDS in 2003 announced that “many UN member states will not meet basic AIDS prevention and care goals.”

But where do they get their information about Bush? From their "unbiased" media?

Wherever they get it from, it can't be more biased than Fox news!

Thats not what you previous stated, which is that Bush "forcing people to pay more.".. Now your posting that Bush gave $200 Million, or 6.6% of the total need, leading the way for the UN to follow... Sounds like people should be greatful for the $200Million of OUR money to save poor people from aids, but no... you just cant please a liberal can you...

GIVING away $200 Million, is not forcing them to pay more..

Anyone who doesn't believe in the extreme anti-American feelings worldwide hasn't been out of the US. Everyone else knows quite well to be very discrete about letting people know you are American [some claim Canadian works]. Knowing full well that this will be misinterpreted, but I say to those who ask that I am a Californian & loath Bush [that helps ease the anger some.

Default What Are Bush's Major Accomplishments In His 2 Terms

He's ruined his party's chances in elections for the forseeable future. Some might consider that major.

Well... he gave $200 million taxpayer dollars to the Pharmaceutical giants to buy drugs that will later be too exhorbitant for the countries in need to buy. I guess that's just good business, isn't it?
