Yes, they do. As soon as they form a society. Society is a form of insurance which is a form of pooled risk which is guaranteed to result in redistribution of income. Do the math.

Yeah, a lot of us realize you guys have trouble trying to process these two concepts at the same time. And no wonder...they're just basically incompatible...sort of like macaroni and cheese...

As Katherine Hepburn said "Bore, Bore, Bore...Aren't you just tired of it all?"

Agreed.

No one should ever tell another person what it is they believe. It's egotistical (at best) to do so.

Doesn't get any simpler than that.
The liberals I know would buy you a meal, and clothing if you needed it. It doesn't get any better than that.

"Liberals" today simply want to create specific outcomes by selectively destroying individual freedoms. You can not create an outcome or manipulate others without aggressive force. So the idea of "liberals" being for freedom has no basis in reality. If your ideas need to be forced onto others you are just a different type of totalitarian.

I use quotes around "liberal" because as others have already pointed out, these people have no resemblence whatsoever to classical liberals who stood for individual freedom and against collectivism. Not to be one-sided, "conservatives" today are simply collectivists that favor the warfare state over the welfare state. Both "liberals" and "conservatives" are merely selective socialists.
