It's about time USA repealted it's 2nd ammendment and outlawed firearms. Also get rid of the death penalty as other civilized countries have done.

i think your totally wrong on outlawing gun ownership and totally wrong on the death penalty. i think the death penalty needs to be enforced more stringently

If the way most "civilized" countries are going will continue to be the norm, then count me out.

Hi there, citizen of a country I have often threatened to move to for debatable political reasons.

I'm definitely with you on capital punishment. Repealing the 2nd Amendment, however, is not something I feel comfortable about. I think it's a cultural issue, though I have no personal desire to deal with firearms.

Canada... hahaha

As a card carrying member of the NRA and a Texan, this thread makes me smile. I reckon we put down more people each year then the rest of the United States does combined.

I was never a proponent of the death penalty until a few years ago when people we knew were murdered in their own home with their children and left in the basement.

Having a close to home experience like that will change anyone's mind!

Now, as a deterrent, the death penalty does not seem to be working. I don't really believe in the method for punitive reasons either. I am just pragmatic, I guess. Why spend the time and money on them??

Am I the only one who doesn't really care what a Canadian thinks about our Constitution?
