For the record, I was unable to rep him, also.

I don't think I've repped him in over a year.

I don't want to believe the conspiracies or the fact that our government may have done this, but part of me feels like this would have been a GOOD opportunity for them to instill fear and take over more control over our lives, whether we realize it or not. I've often wondered if there were many reasons behind it....gave us a reason to go to war (because that's how the USA makes money)...don't you know that we sell weapons to everyone, etc., then we go fight them? Another thing would be that now there's an excuse for you to be pulled over and searched at any time. The airports are stricter than EVER...etc..etc...Just thoughts...I'm daydreaming.

This reminds me of the following quote:

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

- Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Valid criticism is okay; Teddy wasn't referring to wacko conspiracy theories.

I am voted for Bush, but I'm not so infected with party politics to deny there is something wrong about 9/11. To me that's not wacko but common sense.

It's wacko when we already know what happened... terrorists hijacked 4 airplanes and crashed them. It's not really that complicated!

Regardless of who, or how this took place, this opportunity was taken.

Analyze...wacko is a label, nothing more.
Valid criticism? According to whom? The Status Quo?

Criticism may be valid, because many instances of that day cannot be adequately explained, and there were too many unusual circumstances and coincidences.
