No but it may have made Israel safer, or feel safer or expanded their middle eastern hegemony, and isn't that what it's all for in the end?

Nah, I believe you have the story wrong here. Per Lawrence Wilkerson, who was the Chief of Staff for Colin Powell:

Israeli officials warned the George W. Bush administration that an invasion of Iraq would be destabilising to the region

The warning against an invasion of Iraq was "pervasive" in Israeli communications with the administration, Wilkerson recalls. It was conveyed to the administration by a wide range of Israeli sources, including political figures, intelligence and private citizens.

Approving of spending trillions of TAX dollars on other countries may win elections but it doesn't help AMERICANS. Iraq has NEVER attacked AMERICA!
HAHAHA! Americans in poverty? Not me. Keep gassing up my friends, and thanks Bush!!!

Israel and other countries warned Bush that a terrorist attack by way of a hijacked airliner was imminent. Bush chose to ignore all warnings, but Whitehouse officials DID stop taking commercial airflights in the weeks preceeding 9-11.

No.

1) Iraq was never a threat to U.S or to U.S interest.

2) Destroying a 'sunni' minority dominated Iraq under Saddam has opened the doors for Iraq Shia majority to come to power and ally itself(which it has already done on all levels) with Iran---our enemy.

3) Our military weakness has shown our enemies that there are limits to U.S military power and that the only way to defeat our military is through guerilla warfare(you can call it terrorism if it makes you feel better). Syria and Iran have increased their funding of non-state groups in the middle east and this was further proved by Israel defeat in Lebonnon aganist hezbollah.

4) We have once again brought our enemies together. The secular regime of Syria has allied itself with religious shia goverment(Iran) and both have improved their methods and funding system for hamas and hezbhollah.

5) We have failed to secured our border(by the way I support total amnesty for illegals---this issue is not about illegal immigrants, its about border security and port security). President Bush has done nothing to make our ports secure. Besides, how could it, we don't have money! In addition, President Bush and neo-conservative have gone on a crusade to destroy the CIA(because it believes in a neo-realist and realist foriegn policy). So, we are not only protecting our border, we are destroying our intelligence agency.

6) Iraq invasion have angred the sunni population also and divided our allies in the sunni world. The sunni majority states in Middle East don't want Iran to become powerful but can't do anything to support U.S because their population are aganist us---because of U.S invasion of Iraq.

Iran was never a threat to the US either, but now they are our 'enemy of choice'. We accuse them of helping the Shia in Iraq - well what are we meddling in their little corner of the world anyway? The Shah of Iran was ruthless, but he was our dictator of choice, and we sold arms to him. Why don't we just mind out own business?

The private contractors (infrastructure construction companies, KBR and other large suppliers of services to DoD, Halliburton and other suppliers of services to Big Oil), and the Big Oil companies themselves due to the U.S. clearing out all foreign competitors for new oil production contracts in Iraq; remember that according to the US Dept of Energy's EIA, only 25% of Iraq's territory has been seismically surveyed for oil deposits).
I think that a major factor for the invasion was that fact that Russia, France, Germany and Chinca had locked up the oil contracts with Iraq - the US was excluded. So the obvious choice is attack - right? And thereby drive the price of oil thru the roof!
