Maybe they are just toying with the left and it will really be a bombshell. Maybe they want angry conservatives to take to the streets over the weekend...you know, when they aren't working.
We'll know soon enough.

And maybe Wile E. Coyote will get that pesky roadrunner this time.

Then you've completely changed reference frames. Whichever tinpot head honcho was installed wouldn't be president in the constitutional sense.

As Mike Adams said, brought to you by the Democrats who will cause all sorts of crazy events to distract from the Arizona Audit Report.

A president chosen in a military takeover of the country would most certainly be president.
Remember, in a military takeover of the government, there is no constitution.
Once the country is stabilized, the federal government could resume it's duties, and on the next regular federal election, the voters could choose the president.

In name only. Like I said, different reference frames.

And which document outlines the duties, qualifications and election process for - US president?

Sure, the junta may call their head honcho "president", but constitutionally, he won't be.

The State Legislatures have plenary power over Electiors. The House and Senate can decertify their state's votes with a Joint Resolution. The states have the authority to correct a mistake. (Article II, section 1, clause 2, of the U.S. Constitution, gives plenary authority directly to the State Legislatures over the electors.)

The Constitution does not prohibit the legislators from claiming or decertifying an election.
(10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively or to the people.) Because the legislature is not prohibited from decertifying the electors, it is within their power to do it.

The fraudulent audit was supposed to have been finished and revealed last April. It's been rescheduled/delayed many times due to the fact that they are trying to find something that sticks to the wall besides the crap they are expounding on.
