This is really scary and reminds me of the Sedition Act. This was discussed awhile back in the alternative media but it looks like things are moving closer to reality. With the suspension of habeus corpus, well, things don't look good for preservation of the 1st amendment. Can I just say that there isn't ONE thing Bushco has done for the good of the people in the past 7 years?

Yes, but he was released the next day. With the definition of "enemy combatant" so vague and no due process to enemy combatants and, in light of this proposed legislation, I think we're in bigger trouble here.
