No, Democrats want everyone to vote. Dems always benefit from high turnout.
I like your idea for a digital voting system, but I know a lot of people, mostly republicans, would oppose it, on grounds that it is not secure. I figure if we can pay our taxes, register for Medicare and Social Security and do all our banking online, we should be able to vote online. We'd have to have public kiosks for those who don't have internet.
I am a constitutional conservative, and I like the idea for a digital voting system.
but a few things need to happen first:
1. it has to be secure...by SSN
2. you are correct as there has to be public access to machines (maybe at libraries) for those that dont have internet in their homes.
3. it needs to be tracked, so nobody can use your ssn , and/or have the ssn used more than once
.......3a. but that does bring up a question of anonymity
