It seems quite a few high profile politicians are suffering from strokes in such a short amount of time. Does anyone else find this to be quite strange?

This was discussed a bit last week.
Van Hollen actually had a small brain bleed/broken blood vessel. Fetterman had uncontrolled A-Fib which is a famous stroke maker. He now has a pacemaker to control that. A-Fib has been around for a long time and is very treatable. Uncontrolled, not so much.
Lujan had swelling in the cerebullum and Stein states a blood clot.
Interesting that Josh Stein tested positive for COVID on May 16th. COVID infection causes an approximately 30% increase in strokes, cardiac events, and blood clots. So maybe that explains Stein's case, at least.
I asked this in another thread, which went unanswered, but I would still like an update as to what the current status is regarding a 40% increase in deaths among those between the ages of 18 and 64 as of January 2022.
QUOTE FROM ABOVE LINK, my italics and bold: "Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”
