I think the reason it's not talked about is deliberate, to protect her and to protect the U.S. from nuclear attack.
I was listening to something on Alexa today and they talked about the Gulag - some guy was recounting his time in Russian prisons and it was not pretty.
I feel so bad for her.
The allegation is that she had hemp oil on her bag? I mean, come on . . . that is ridiculous that they would imprison her for that.
Some people seem to not care if she is being detained in Russia since she had the audacity to not stand for the anthem which is her right to protest in our free country.
She was busted for bringing pot into Russia, at exactly the wrong time. She made an extremely poor calculation of the circumstances.

She did? Conservatives here are twisting themselves in knots saying that a person is guilty of nothing until found guilty in court. Why not afford her the same courtesy? After all, she denies the crime.

She is being held for drug smuggling. Russia does not care about her political view.
No. That is not what she did. They said they found some evidence of hemp oil on her bag. She didn't bring "pot" into the country.
