We have thousands of Americans in American jails because they violated out drug laws. Why should we care any more about someone in a Russian jail for violating Russian drug laws?
I never disputed that what she did was illegal, deliberate or not.
Then you can’t dispute the idiocy of traveling to Russia during a state of war.
What do you think has more affect on her prison sentence? Bringing in weed as a prominent foreigner or Biden engaging in a proxy war against Russia and the west calling Putin Hitler? I’d say it’s the latter not the former.

She was convicted with both smuggling and possession. Don’t see anywhere the minimum amount that constitutes a smuggling charge in Russia.

Point is she possessed it because she smuggled it.
