Although I agree with you, we can't possibly, as a society give the go-ahead to aborting some fetuses that we deem not worthy of protection, and on a clear bill of health prevent the abortion of "normal" fetuses.

We just can't go there. To have to prove medically that your baby doesn't have value, doesn't have the protections that other babies have under the law is just territory that's too dark.

I think Roe v. Wade was a reasonable compromise. Any upper limit (except for serious fetal anomalies) is going to be somewhat arbitrary.

I agree with this. No way, the implications are not good.
