Pro choice is driven by a woman being able to make her own choices in life, just as a man does.
Choosing to kill another human being (outside of self-defense) is not and never will be a personal choice, and preventing women from doing so is not depriving them of any legitimate right.
And men are not allowed to murder other people any more than women are

Like it or not, a large number of people do not consider a non-viable fetus to be a "human being". If you believe that then you have the right to ensure that your partner is not someone who would want an abortion, but you have no right to impose that on anyone else.
And another bit of irony is the fact that states that are banning abortion have the stingiest services for the poor, including medical care, TANF grants, low cost housing. So unless their goal is to push these women into giving up their baby for adoption I would suggest that their ban on abortion is just a political stunt.

Well support efforts to get those poor people moved to places like NY or CA where they have generous benefits for the poor.
Finally, something we can agree on!
A man's choices are over as soon as the sex act is complete.
No reason a female can't be an adult also.
The problem is the man has choices, a pregnant woman now has very few Baby daddy can beat feet, work under the table and never pay a penny in support of his child, he can decide to be a weekend daddy where mom has the child 24-7 except for a few hours on the weekend when daddy decides to take the kid to the park. In my opinion, if abortion is banned the father should be identified by DNA before the baby is born and he should be equally responsible with the mother for the baby both before and after it is born.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) made the remarks in separate appearances on Sunday morning shows, arguing that the federal government has the authority to permit abortions on federal lands. National parks and forests, military bases and courthouses are examples of federal lands.
“We have never left individual rights to the states,” Warren said on ABC’s This Week.
...
Ocasio-Cortez echoed Warren’s remarks.
“What we need to do is show the American people that when they give the Democratic Party power and when they actually do vote for us, that we will be using and we are willing to use the power that they do give us in order to merit increased expansions in our majority,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Pro-choice legislators, she noted, are examining many ideas, including “asking President Biden to explore opening healthcare clinics on federal lands in red states in order to help people access the healthcare and abortion services that they need.”
The Hyde Amendment currently prohibits abortions from taking place on federal lands.

what are "well support efforts"? And why should a woman who is forced to carry a baby be required to move to another state, and if she's poor how is she supposed to move anywhere?
