It is sad, frustrating, infuriating and disgusting when you are safer living in the Ukrainian war zone than living in a major US city. What has happened to my beautiful, beloved country?

Horrific footage from July 20 shows the woman hyperventilating with her own crimson blood gushing over her face before she realizes what has happened to her.
She's now advocating for more to be done about gun violence in Portland, Oregon, after her family, who are living in war-torn Ukraine, said they were fearing for her safety in the US.
It comes as progressive Democrat-led policies in America's most woke cities struggle to curtail violent crime two years after voting to cut police funding.

I pray people are waking up to the fact that who they are voting for directly impacts much of this rising crime. People don't wake up to their mistakes easily. Many people resort to denial because it is really hard to accept that they have been wrong for so long on an issue.
I see people waking up to the problems caused by how they are voting, but it is slow and will take way too much time. By then, crime will be entrenched.
What exactly this has to do with her being Ukrainian? IS she supposed to be autoimmune to any accidents by that virtue? What if the same happened in Kyiv? It is nausiating, how they use "Ukraine" lapel for any reasonable and not occasion.

Pointing out the irony of her family in Ukraine - in a war - being afraid for her safety here in the US? That's the whole point of the story. It's not like the story was reported without making the parallel and just throwing in 'Ukranian' for no reason.
Wow she is so lucky to be alive. A few inches up or to the side would have ended her.
This is yet another example of the failed policies of the Democrats that allow the criminals to run the streets.
One of 2 things have to happen. These cities either get tough on the gangs and crime, arrest and lock up the criminals OR they bring them in and give them classes on the safe handling, use and above all target practice with their guns. There are far too many innocent people that are hurt or killed by these idiots with guns so either lock them up which the Left does not want to do for some stupid reason OR make them better shots so they actually hit and kill their target.
I can hear some Dopey Dem member of Congress proposing a $100 Million dollar Bill that would bring mobile target ranges to the inner cities to help combat and stop the collateral damage from the gangs with guns....
