One day after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago, agents confronted U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) and seized his cell phone while the congressman was at an airport with his family. Three FBI agents approached Perry, handed over a warrant for his cell phone, and then seized the mobile device — apparently without previously trying to contact his attorney.

In a statement, Perry slammed the seizure and the Biden administration's politicization of the Justice Department. "This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone," Perry recounted. "They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish."

"I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress," Rep. Perry continued. "My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business," he added.

Fishing expeditions to find evidence to try and criminalize protesting the fraudulent 2020 elections results. The Democrats are going to rue the day they let their 6-year-long insurrection get to this point.

Your feelings that it is a fishing expedition are that feelings not fact.

Why this guy Trump appointed is really working it.

You would think Trump would have had better judgement when choosing someone for the FBI. Look at the havoc he has created.

And you want Trump to get into office and do the same thing again......uh oh.

Yep. New rules. If you Democrats want to play dirty, let’s play dirty.

Default FBI seizes Phone of Trump Ally, Representative Scott Perry

Scott Perry says he would have turned in his phone willingly and didn't need to be surprised pulled over in his car with his family.

No word on why the FBI seized his phone, perhaps J6 investigation?

Perry says it is banana republic level stuff.

Perry, another member of the crew trying to keep Trump in office on Jan.6. Goes with Clark and Eastman. Whose phones were also taken and looked through. Contacts between the 3 may be connected to Navarro and his Green Bay Sweep craziness

Perry's quote says he was 'visited'...so the being in a car story might be a stretch.

Seizing in public for a show. Intimidation to him and a message to others if you support their political opponents you will be considered an enemy of the state.
