I think it's too late to heal. We are so divided, politically, socially and culturaly now that we can never return to the unity that this country once had. Wokism is another thing that is dividing our country. Might as well call it quits and divide and then everyone will be happy again.

I do hear that sentiment, quite often, from the right.

All for one and one for all is the ONLY way we'll all survive, and only just over half of us want to make that happen. The others would rather the baby be cut in half.
There is no healing while the culture war still rages. Ask again later about how we put it all behind us after it's over but using history as a guide you might not like the answer.

Oh, wait. Stores are only friendly to nonwhite, LGBTQ consumers. Those darn right wingers!!!! Why are they segregating their customers again!!! When will they become tolerant of all people?
