Barkan: We can reduce the responsibilities assigned to the police and redirect some of the funding for police into social services, mental health counseling and affordable housing… Are you open to that kind of reform?

Biden: Yes, I proposed that kind of reform… The last thing you need is an up-armored Humvee coming into a neighborhood. It’s like the military invading! They don’t know anybody. They become the enemy…

Barkan: But do we agree that we can redirect some of the funding?

Biden: Yes! Absolutely.

Some on the far left have done said that. That said it isn't President Biden or the Democrat Party as a whole. I and many just want accountability of police forces when it comes to "in custody deaths." Funny how the Republicans say "Back the Blue" except when it comes to those that shot Ashli Babbitt or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents now.

I see you have not said a damn thing about the threats on the FBI field offices and the rhetoric being used against the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) since the FBI went on their warrant-driven visit to Mar-A-Lago for not turning over the documents on his own volition that I brought up when you accused me of the same thing. Or are you just another "Back the Blue" supporter, only when it fits your political narrative?

Work on yourself, the county is done-for, both parties are basically worthless and one-in-the-same.

So killing George Floyd who tried to pay a bill with counterfeit money (undetermined if he knew if it was) good, shooting Ashli Babbitt when she was in a mob trying to break further into a secure location to halt a Constitutional proceeding, bad? Are you serious here? I guess back the blue doesn't include federal agents...

Clearly country wins by a TON! I think people choose party to make sure the direction of our country is more to their liking.

Agreed. Those who would choose party over country do so out of self-serving interests. The party they choose gives them what they want personally not what is good for our citizens and country as a whole.
