The brother of one of the 13 service members who were killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan committed suicide a year later. So now there are 14 American deaths to blame on the Afghan retreat.

I wonder how many service members/American lives were saved by ending the war? I'll wager it's definitely much more than 14. The Afghanistan war is over. We lost. Shouldn't have ever gone in the first place. Let's move on.

In reality, they’re victims of the occupation. Those people would be alive if we didn’t occupy the region in the first place.

I wonder how many people that helped the US over the years but were hung out to dry by Biden in the abysmal failure of the pull out have lost their lives? How many were hung, dragged out of their homes and shot in the street or beaten to death? We will never know but what we do know is IF the pullout happened as it did under Trump CNN and their ilk would have made those murders nightly news.

We had to get out of there but did it have to be that ugly and costly in lives and equipment?

The true carnage of the western neo liberal attempt at world domination can not be calculated in American blood alone. The death toll numbers in the millions. The deaths will continue for generations to come because of the depleted uranium munitions dumped on the middle east. If the thought about all that has happened doesn't make you sick, you don't have a conscience/soul.

Will anything be learned from this experience???

It wasn't "ending the war" that was the problem. It was the WAY we ended it. And there is no excuse. None. It was monumentally botched on a historic scale.

And the blood of all 14 stains the hands of sippy-cup bunker dwelling pedophile Joe Obiden and all who voted for him.

You're putting the horse before the carriage. Ignoring the Constitution and going into Afghanistan in the first place was the cause of his death.

Bring the troops home and protect our borders like the Constitution says.
No one but Paul.

The military would still be there if they could get by with it.

They should have known the day it was disclosed the Taliban was almost at Camp David on 9/11 to start winding down.

They knew the day Trump made the deal. What would have been the response of the Taliban had Biden decided ignore the deal and leave 2500 troops there?
