So he was hired in February...and he has been on leave since (presumably) late October.

What was the purpose of the Biden Administration celebrating the "Diversity" of their administration when they announced this hire and how he "identifies"?
If they are going to highlight his "Identity" in the beginning, it will be part of the story in the end.
However, I doubt this will cost him his job. If this fell totally under the radar, the charges may have been quietly dropped. Now that it is out, they will probably charge him with the minimal they can to say that they are "tough on crime" but allow him to keep his job.

he should, at minimum, be losing his security clearance over this, which would surely keep him from retaining his current position.
