yes indeed...84% of all the 2500 people that took the survey.

So representative of the 320 MILLION people living in the US !!!! NOT.

I would say the pro alphabet group are the "small loud minority" here.

Last week I posted a poll about preferred pronouns, and ~2/3rds of the posters were against them. So I have a feeling that a lot of folks say they "support" LGBTQ but only so far. And not very far.

The Republicans do that themselves w/ their attacks on Trans Americans and bills like Florida's don't say gay bill...stripping a teacher from the ability to give an lgbtq student a safe space if they live in a home that doesn't accept who they really are.

Examples of the “anti LGBTQ bills”

Quote:
Many of them deal specifically with transgender youth. Some seek to deny them gender-affirming health care, while others would keep them from playing on school sports teams or accessing school restrooms that match their gender identity.
I would consider bills that deny children gender affirming care to be good bills that are looking out for kids as we know that about 80% of kids outgrow their gender confusion if given nothing more than therapy for underlying issues. Allowing gender affirming care for ids harms 80% of kids who seek help. Why would anyone support harming kids like this?

Keeping kids in sports that align with their biological sex protects girls who would otherwise be faced with unfair competition and opportunities. These bills are pro fair sports for girls.

Limiting use in restrooms to biological sex also allows women and girls privacy and increased safety. These bills are pro women and girls.

Maybe teachers should focus on doing their day jobs properly before they venture into domains that are none of their business.

It's a teacher's job to teach knowledge. Half the teachers in this country are barely capable of teaching what they were hired to teach, let alone give "safe spaces" for anything. It's not a teacher's place to parent. Parenting is the exclusive and sole domain of parents.

Someone send the email to Ronnie … he’s not getting it.
This will flip, and people will adapt once again, when the few haters can’t have their way. The majority of the youth is very tolerant. They up to vote next

Equal rights does not mean having the ability to groom children.

Gays have all "equal rights" that anyone else does. There are very few laws that even distinguish sexual preference.

I would say many don’t like it, or would wear the rainbow on their head, but they also would not support draconian laws being passed or idiots stomping on rainbow signs and threatening target workers. Most people by now have gay friends or bosses or baristas in their lives. They do not represent the enemy, but in these wars, they rather stay neutral.

"threatening" target workers has nothing to do with "gay." There are laws already on the books for this and should be followed for anyone that commits violence against any store workers.

This, again, has nothing to do with grooming children in schools and department stores.

THIS.

A thousand times over, THIS. THIS. THIS.

There is a big difference between believing in equal rights for and pandering/submitting to. What the activists want is pandering and kneeling before. And, as for me at least, they can forget it. I don't like peacocks of any flavor, especially if they are attempting to hold a gun to my head. Screw em.

Because they are evil people. That sums it up.
