Odd. I've got friends with Hummers that simply paid cash for them. Come to think of it, they all did.
Does this mean every car on the road over $50K is financed with a 60/72/84 loan?
Strawman argument. Answer denied.
Any search will show a substantial increase in the amount of upside down car owners, and buried in the statistics for anyone who did a little research is a substantial increase in the amount of upside down SUV owners. Given their SUV is depreciating almost as quickly as their McMansion, the wealth effect is quickly falling for these suckers.

Let me ask you: Do you feel the same way about those who bought a 100K BMW? Or, the 80K Caddy? Or the 75K Lexus? Cars now - not SUV's
I don't care about the car or SUV in particular. I'm just enjoying watching upside down homeowners and car owners wallow in their own stupidity.
Well - you have been hammering the SUV's - yet, no mention about cars
And, not all homeowners are "upside down" in their homes - not by a long shot. And, many car (and SUV) owners really do enjoy their vehicles - you know - have fun.
Hey. I can agree with that. Don't bite off more than you can chew. If you start choking, it's not everyone else's fault.
Then we agree.
I don't care if someone with gobs of money wants to buy a status symbol. I just get a gut busting laugh when someone takes out a 72 month loan on an H2 and ends up surrendering it on account of still cheap $4 gas.
