Nope, I drive a Subaru mid-sized sedan. Couldn't get into a hummer, couldn't park a hummer, like to keep my money and not spend it when I don't have to. However, if you want a hummer and can afford it, I think you should have one and if enough people want them, I think the car company would be foolish not to make it. It's called individual freedom not socialist collectivism.

I agree completely...

One benefit of the end of the recession and the stengthening of the economy is gas prices will soar again with increased demand...

I just LOVE watching disgruntled SUV owners fill up at the gas station...

I always make a point of asking - 'Wow - how much does it cost you to fill that thing???'.... needless to say - they aren't very happy when they hear me. - especially when gas is $4/gallon..

When the prices go a bit higher, try it sometime - it's a scream!!! Half the time they get a sick look on their face - the rest of the time they usually talk about how they want to sell the piece of garbage...

My family is in very safe Honda mid-size and Toyata mid-size cars and Toyota mini-vans.

Statistically we are much safer than the morons who drive SUVs - which have a notoriously high roll-over fatality rate.

Oh well -that's fine with me. The more SUV occupants who perish in crashes - the better off the country's gene pool is!!!
Wow!! Very nice! I dont trade them in , I collect them, now is a buyers market. Except for H1 they now hold there value very well thanks. Tell you what there bobby boy you get you'e honda toyota or what ever rig you choose and I will get my H1, or Excursion and we will go head on at 60 mph , the survivor will decide who has the safest vehicle! Air bags, might help keep you're head from hitting the windsheild, but that really doesnt mean much when you're windshield is in the back seat! Oh and by the way the suvs that roll over are the little econo rigs that you would prefer. An H1 is 86 inches wide with a track width of about 71 inches, you have to try really hard to roll one, I have.

very safe?

maybe you should take a look at some of the larger SUV's before you say that. Alot of cars would fair very badly getting into a wreck with a 3/4 ton Surburban on a 4 inch lift, with a push bar on the front end.
When my bumper is usually right in line with most cars back window, I would not feel safe in that Honda.

another liberal practically pooping his pants with glee at the thought of Americans dying.

why do you feel there is something genetically inferior with a 4 year old girl who just happens to be riding in an SUV, that causes you to be so thrilled at the idea of her death?

What air isn't fit to breathe??? Do you think this is the '70s with all the acid rain? Maybe you should visit your comrades in Russia or China and see what pollution really is.

Bought my Jeep in 2006 filled her up when it was $1.39, $3.00, $4.20 and $1.99. I didn't sell her never thought of selling her.

I would love to see the look on my face when my Jeep meets your sub compact and my worries are the repair bill your worries are will I live through it.
