Which news do you rely on and trust for your information? Why do you chose that news channel?
I like Fox News mainly the people seem to be more alive. I like Fox&Friends I miss ED. But, she is on later with her own show. I also like John Scott,Shepherd Smith,Neil Cavuto & John Gibson & good ole Hannity & Colmes.

Are these two the only stations or media you are asking about?

I don't watch television, but I do read news online--about 20-30 sites per day.

McLaughlin Group, CNN. C-Span if I can stomach it. Never watch local news.

I do not rely on anybody on television at all without backing, I certainly do not depend on the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, or others of that ilk. I was told in high school, many many years ago to form your own opinion, and a good way to do that is to find someone credible that you agree with , someone credible that you do not agree with and form your own opinion, in other words listen to both sides.I hate to listen to someone I disagree with but I force myself too and once they were right.

Fox News and sometimes to get another view, I watch a little of CNN.
Love Shep Smith, Hannity and O'Reilley.

You can tell us what you like NPR or how ever else you get your info. Those just seem to be the ones I see people mentioning. Maybe you have one we are not aware of. I don't think I could read that much online info. my eyes start burning.

Many do not understand the fierce competition between Fox News and CNN. The ratings completely favor Fox News. Why? Because Fox News favors the right and the middle, and CNN 98% of the time favors the left. Well, Fox News has no competition with its right wing audience. CNN has to compete with viewers with big names such as CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC for its left wing comptetion. CNN will continue to have low approval ratings as long as they stay far on the left with the other giant competitors. Fox News is sailing smoothly with no competition with a Conservative-Moderate based agenda.

Neither.

Someone who wants to stay informed needs to get their information from lots of sources, not just rely on the one they feel reinforces their beliefs. That isn't information. That's just a solidification of cant.

If you really want to stay informed, you need to read righties, lefties, centrists, and anything around or between. Learn to read between the lines. Learn to think critically.

You don't actually watch CNN, do you?

CNN is moderate at best. If there is a truly "left" news network on TV, I haven't seen it.

Check out CNN's Glenn Beck sometime. That guy is so right wing that he probably gives Pat Buchanan nightmares.
