Honestly guys, while this president has done things that could classify as impeachable offenses, that would be a huge mistake given our current situation at home and in the world. I think the impeachment of Clinton was a mistake. We need to find more productive ways to improve our situation. Partisan bickering never solved anything...

I want to protest the communists trying to strangle the Constitution. Can you tell me of a rally for that?

I agree with you, kdizzle, but I was up rather late, listening, thinking and wondering what are our options with an administration on one side of the large fence, and the majority of the populace (about 70-odd%) on the other. In addition to the popular opinion, I haven't heard many--even in DC-- support the idea of more troops in Iraq and an escalation or surge in the region.

Further, our allies are just not there with us and we don't have the manpower without a draft to keep sending troops into Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and elsewhere.

The President played a risky card last night, and while I'm not much of a card player, it raises the ire of many, myself included, that he does not seem to be listening to anyone or anything except his own hubris.
