Default Asian Community voting trends

In this Election much has been made about different demographics.
Can Obama get the Latino vote?,Etc
I was curious if Asian's lean towards a certain party.
I understand there are many different cultures Chinese,Viet,Korean, etc
I havent heard much on the subject.

Depends on which generation Asian you're speaking of. My parents, the older generation, were all for Hillary. I personally lean toward Obama. The difference is that us Asians tend to assimilate well so our votes aren't too terribly different from most caucasian votes.

It's generational, but more to the point, "Asians" is far too broad a category to speak of. If you drill down, you will see huge differences that split across ethnic (e.g., Japanese, Chinese vs. Southeast Asian or Indian), age, and immigration status (few Japanese Americans are immigrants or even children of immigrants versus Vietnamese, who for all intents and purposes did not live in the US until about 40 years ago).
