Christianity is a way of life which includes honesty and integrity; a business which advertises itself as a "Christian-Run" business would I suppose be presumed to be honest and ethical in its dealings.

A "Gay-Run" business would I guess be presumed to be gay in its dealings...or something? I guess--

Default Ronald

When I first heard the headlines, I was sure that it was Ronald. That he had come out of the closet.

But it turned out that it was their membership in a gay and lesbian chamber that caused the stir. Guess I need to start getting my lunchtime salads at McDs once in a while.

And, FWTIW, I am a straight, active Christian.

Theoretically, maybe... (referring to the text I bolded)

Inclusion in a list of "Gay or Gay friendly" businesses gives consumers the assurance that they can patronize business who are not discriminatory.

Again, theoretically.

I think it's all a bunch of crap really, because no one knows the true intent or feelings of the businessperson in the end. It could just be a ploy to get more business, regardless of the affiliation. Your gay-friendly business could really be owned by a raging homophobe. Likewise your "Christian" business could be run by thieving slime.

You can presume that to be true, however Christians bilking other Christians out of money and having unethical business practices is not a new concept.

It would be a business that is run by gays. For world domination, of course.

Did you happen to check post #22? Your question was answered.

Yeah, world domination. Happy Meals will soon be called Faggy Meals. I'm so glad that the conspiracy was caught early on. We can all stop it by going to Burger King. No queens on that menu.

I remember a few years back when a certain religious group got their knickers in a knot over Disney's Gay Days and said they were going to boycott them and called for everyone in this religion to do the same.

I had to laugh, if your going to boycott Disney, you won't be doing much, that extends to a HUGE number of movies, everything from Bambi to Pulp Fiction, ABC, ESPN, several sports teams.

Pretty pointless, I see Disney is still there, still doing what they have always done. Having their Gay Days, extending insurance to same sex partners etc.

I suppose it's more about such groups making a political statement than anything else. At any rate, they usually (and thankfully) fail.

OH they make a statement all right but I doubt the one they want to. In my reading of it, they come off looking like complete and total wankers.
