Sorry, but yellow-cake is not a "WMD", and its presence in Iraq is not proof of "WMD."

This stuff had been in Iraq since the '80s, was well known to us and the IAEA, and to just about everyone else. IIRC this was originally at the reactor site that the Israelis had bombed.

The biggest probelm this posed was to Iraqis who were stealing the drums to use for water storage

When the President himself admits he was wrong that Iraq still had WMD's then the simple fact is that there were NO WMD'S

I think what happened was that Bush remembered the United States actually sold Iraq and Saddam the Weapons of Mass Destruction to begin with! Can't have our fingerprints all over the evidence!

The U.S. never sold Iraq WMD. The U.S. did supply certain chemicals for medical purposes and research.

My God....the people supporting this disaster as still trying to say that Iraq had/has nuclear weapons?!?! Give it up.

I guess this is what happens when people keep reading the Weekly Standard...

Those chemicals had several uses. We also knew that some of them would be used against Iran which we supported. That's what you find when you do the research. Did you know that Iran has US made F-14s? It's interesting to see how future administrations will deal with our arming of the Sunnis who have supported our mission in return for US cash, too. That's great policy to arm both sides of a conflict.
