Is the article WRONG?

Were the basic facts as cited in the article correct?

If so, it matters little who or what is reporting it.

A common tactic used by those trying to avoid the truth.

The teacher's overzealous (=nutty) approach notwithstanding, I dont get how this was "indoctrination." "Diversity training" is not indoctrination. Could you explain what you meant, please?

Sounds like a bad teacher to me.

But this is simply another "controversy" manufactured by the likes of the Daily Mail. Anyone who has any experience living in the UK and dealing with the British tabloids over there knows about this kind of thing. Similar to what happens on Fox frankly.

An interesting note about the Daily Mail; the tabloid is often called the Daily Hail because it was fairly supportive of Hitler and Nazism in the years before WWII. Just shows you where they are coming from...

"Diversity training" is the PC term for "Indoctrination", they are one and the same.

Does this sound good to you? It does to me. "The slimming-down of this insane consumer culture will be a wonderful thing. People pay off their credit cards and just deal in cash. Or barter! Once they refuse to take part in consumption-mania people will naturally look more and more skeptically at advertising, "entertainment," political messages disguised as religious guidance and other forms of manipulation. They'll throw out their TVs. They'll resent the machinery that they gradually, reluctantly have to realize was tricking and using them all these years (if they bother to think about it at all that is). They'll start thinking for themselves. Oh, no! Revolution! "

This is on the "Let's have some good news!" thread.

But it's interesting that people don't feel that way about xianity in the US.
At every military function, there is xian prayer.
Before every presidential inauguration, there is xian prayer.
Incessant xian carols at the holidays are forced upon us.
Temples and synagogues in the US are vandalized and burned.

Do you call that indoctrination? Didn't think so.

BTW, neither the MAIL nor FOX news are credible.

Once again can't even type the word Christ. How freakin' creepy. The difference is here, any student can opt out at any time. Over there the kids got punished for not wanting to participate. If a student was punished for not praying to Jesus, you anti-Christian bigots would be all over this and scream bloody murder. By the way, it is really freaky that you can't even type Christian. In all of the posts that relate to this topic you always type Xian. Who is X and who damaged you so badly?
