It's funny, on american tv we watch shows like Animal Cops because we have compassion for animals. We have groups that would give their lives to save a whale. We have animal shelters on almost every corner. Americans, in general, are very compassionate people. Not just to humans but to animals.

Europe has lost it's sense of compassion, it's sense of God, it's sense of responsibility. They can't even work a 40 hour work week over there.

Don't judge a country by the strength of it's currency.. Europe is falling and falling fast.

If you don't believe me, turn on the television and watch the slaughtering of the bulls in Spain. People here say they have so much culture and so much heritage. It's not culture nor heritage.. it's animal cruelty, period.

What country are your talking about? I have never seen bull fights in Finland?

I've been to every single corner of the continent (except for Scandinavia - can't afford it at my young age). It's an extremely diverse place.

I've spent well over 1/5 of my life living, traveling and WORKING in Europe, and I wouldn't begin to make the kinds of generalizations you are. Just food for thought...

If you're a social conservative, it might surprise you to know that by and large, European countries have stricter abortion laws than the U.S. does. Don't know if that has anything to do with a religious heritage.

I've had friends that went there to study abroad.. take in the culture and the beauty.

Yeah, they all came back missing America. They all said it's full of prostitutes and people who refuse to work.

Gotta be honest, I have no reason to go there. I will someday though.
