Psychiatrists have detected the first case of "climate change delusion"...

Writing in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry, Joshua Wolf and Robert Salo of...Royal Children's Hospital say this delusion was a "previously unreported phenomenon".

"A 17-year-old man was referred to the inpatient psychiatric unit at Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne with an eight-month history of depressed mood . . . He also . . . had visions of apocalyptic events."

"The patient had also developed the belief that, due to climate change, his own water consumption could lead within days to the deaths of millions of people through exhaustion of water supplies."

Fear is a method of control; people are willing to relinquish their freedoms and rights more easily when they are afraid. There's the War on Terror, War on Drugs, War on Poverty, there's a war against everything and each day there's a new crisis. Now, it's man-made global warming. A large majority of rational adults see it for what it is, junk science and propaganda.

I take issue with this when children are targeted and brainwashed into believing these lies. It's disgusting how the global warming loonies are using children to propagate their lies.

More and more children are anxious, worried...they're told the world will end, disasters will only get worse. The more scientists that point out the misinformation the worse the rhetoric of the global warming gurus gets...suddenly everything is caused by global warming. ("Don't you see, the bacteria on tomatoes was from global warming!"

Now...psychiatrists have correctly identified "climate change delusion". How many more children will suffer this way?

Back on topic, the Herald Sun article says "the first case." Hardly scientific. I once saw a crazy guy in the hospital saying the world would end tomorrow. I quickly sold all of my stocks.

Global warming makes sense a priori. More CO2 encloses more heat. You can't show a definite trend until hundreds of years from now, and even then can't PROVE causation. Just like any other scientific theory that's inherently impossible to prove, but it accepted as true.

Back when the leading scientists claimed the world was flat people believed it
and built their lives around it. Hundreds of years later we look at them as foolish and ignorant, just like they will look at the voodoo scientists today who espouse the Gore dogma. A lot of scientists, much smarter than you or I
have recanted their theories on this hysterical left winged plan to destroy the human race.

That's awful too...no one said it wasn't. I just pointed out that Christianity isn't the only religion that does it. Also notice that those kids didn't have explosives strapped to their bodies.
