Sure, it is just the point that many groups claim "let the people decide" and then insist on shooting it down if the people don't agree with them. Either people support "Majority based morality and law" or they don't. If they do, then they need to sit down and shut up when the majority speaks. If they do not agree with majority rule, then they need to establish why they are above others in their stance which presents a very big problem for those who support the "moral relativity" position. In the end, if they object to both, they sound more like a whiny child that just wants their way. Its comical at best.

have you seen the moveon.org video that's called like "a year in review?" they make the comment that they want to "restore our constitution." restore in moveon.org's mind means rewrite.

Perhaps they're referring to the Constitution of the USSR.

I wonder why people aren't crying to bring Jim Crow up for vote in Mississippi next. Civil rights shouldn't be put up for a vote, because if they had been we would still only have rights for landed white men.

I'm sure this still wouldn't be a problem for many people here, though.
