Default Iran Really DOES Have A Case For Nukes

The more I read and hear, the more I am coming around to Iran's point of view on several levels:

1. The EU and the USA, while being all bent out of shape about Iran's program never said a peep about Israel's secret program nor did they "harshly" punish India and Pakistan for theirs. In fact we cancelled the few sanctions we had in place against both nations. If you wish to ban nukes, be consistant about it!
2. Iran want to become a first world nation and has the absolute right to do so. The biggest thing that separates first world from third world nations is the development and enrichment of nukes.
3. Iran has no history of aggression against other countries. In fact they have been victimized by other nations attacking them or causing them trouble- including the UK and USA.

Wait a minute! Isn't Iran a part of the Axis of Evil? Aren't their rights, like those of all other countries, limited to those that happen to be in accord with US interests and whatever some scurrilous right-wing disinformation media talking-head has to say on the matter? Just who do these uppity Iranians think they are, anyway...

Great post, Kev.
Plus you forgot to add they can look over at their neighbor who had never threatened the U.S. and say,
"Holy @#$. These crazy %$%#^#^ just might really attack us!!"

Good Awakening! My Brother!

The 2 other big things is: Iran will not use U.S. dollars for crude exchange/standard. Iran wants or is trading their oil in euros. The U.S. will lie to us and destroy a nation and take it (Iraq) if they do not trade that oil in U.S. currency. If all oil producing nations stopped using the U.S. dollar for oil's exchange overnight and traded in euros, the U.S. dollar would become worthless in sync with this action. If we go into Iran, don't expect Russia and China to stand there smiling, it will start ww3. Guaranteed. Also Israel is pushing the U.S. to take over the Muslim threats they have. Our military, money, and soldiers lives and limbs sacrificed so they don't give theirs. AIPAC is one of the biggest threats to national security, and our sovereignty that one can imagine. Shaping our foreign policies that are destroying our image, and causing hate of America the world over.

Yeah, and if only Al Gore would stop claiming that he invented the internet. If all one ever learns comes through the filter of the right-wing disinformation media, there are a lot of things that one will be confused about, and a lot of silly notions that one will end up supporting....

Israel is not the U.S.'s responsibility. The U.S. is not the police of the world. Our economy and way of life are being sacrificed with this "imperialism". The Constitution and the way America is set up, to only defend ourselves, and a debt approaching 10 trillion is testimony to that.

If America does not change it's hurtful foreign policies to "sovereign nations", there will be "terrorism" here, horrid acts, because hurt people, hurt others-namely the ones that hurt them.

I in no way want to see a U.S. city nuked because we back Israel. This is absolute insanity, our foreign policies.

There are price tags that hang on everything, and there is always a price to be paid. I wonder what a Iraqi child that has lost both of his parents to a U.S. bomb thinks that price should be? The very act of killing innocent Iraqis have just created future terrorist.

Israel can use the $100 Billion we have given as a little Xmas gift and use it to fight their own battle.

They are Big Boys and Girls now.

I agree but the Israeli lobby won't let that happen.
