lol, the same people that voted the Uber-Goober into office TWICE.

Would you believe I was somehow dragged into a conversation with a Bush supporter recently? Painful. Hard to believe there were any left. Anyway...

I asked her "What about the man appeals to you? Why do you think he's good for this country? Why did you vote for him?"

Wanna know what her answer was? "Because he's such a godly man. He's so close to god....blah blah blaggety blah blah." ALL religion, nothing to do with anything else.

I almost hurled on her shoes.

...and that's why Hillary aint' gettin her old house back.

I would vote for a woman the likes of margaret thatcher. Hillary? she doesnt even know when her husband is cheating on her, or doesnt have enough to care. and bill isnt smart enough to know when he's alone, or what the deffinition of IS? those two would hurt personal rights, tax the hell out of me and would abolish the military. which they both Hate! A real third party would get my vote.

I'd like for the first female president to be elected on her own achievements, policy, and name.

I'd hate for the first female president to be elected because her family's celebrity jumpstarted her elected career, her policy is whatever is popular at the time, and her married name's persona is popular and resonates with voters.

I would like to think people would vote for a woman, but I'm pretty sure this country is not ready for a black president or vice president. It's shame, but I think thats where we are at this point. If Obama ends up in the running, they may as well concede to the republicans and save the expense of a lengthy campaign.

Sorry, there is just no way the same people that voted Bush in twice are voting for a black democrat, lol. Not happening.

Sad, but true. However it makes me wonder, when WILL the country be ready for a non-white/Aryan or non-male?? The United States is 230 years old, for goodness sakes, and even India has had a female leader. My dream would be to have a woman against a black man, or any combination of "different" people (Jewish candidate would be nice too )... that way narrow-minded folks wouldn't have a choice, LOL. I'd love to see a racist/sexist being forced to pick one, and I wonder how many "none of the above" votes we'd get!

Hopefully the best candidate will win, regardless of their gender or race... still not sure who I'll support, but I do like Hillary, and Guiliani is probably the only Republican I would consider. I don't know enough about Obama, but like what I see so far. Though as you said, it's unlikely he could win - not just because of his race, but also his young age & lack of experience. I'm looking forward to this election, as it should be an interesting one!! Mostly I'm just happy to say good-bye to the Chimp...

Do Not underestimate Obama, I think even Hiliary is afraid of him. she was the one that leaked that he went to muslim schools. I think he will have a huge following, he kind of makes me nervous.

Who said that Hillary Clinton "leaked" that information? Rush Limbaugh?
Any solid evidence that Clinton is responsible for this?
And are we all supposed to feel nervous if Obama went to a Muslim seminary?
Somehow I *don't* think Obama is some kind of radical Islamo-fascist type.

Of course he's not. But there are always those morons who get excited when someone's name isn't traditionally anglo and resort to xenophobia and racism.

India's dominant religion is also very different.

Mother Durga, Lakshme, etc. They pray to/worship women in that religion, whereas in Christianity women are secondary as religious figures.

I think that has more to do with it than anything.

As for the chimp, I plan to have a party to celebrate his last day in office.

Personally, I was very critical of the Clintons when they were in office.

But now, this character we have in the White House? He makes Bill look like Abe Friggin' Lincoln.

I used to be a Republican. Because of this ridiculous war we're embroiled in, I'm not anymore. It's not that I changed my views. They left [b]me. All the nonsense and distortions the Left used to slam on Reagan (who I consider, still, to have been an excellent President) have come true.

Mark me down for Hillary.
