God fearing men don't stray from their sick wives. There are still a few of us left out there, but there have also been quite a few men of the cloth that have been unfaithful, which is the utter height of hypocrisy, which Jesus hated so much.

- his poor wife is dealing with the return of her cancer while having to deal with this (nothing worse than cheating on a sick spouse)
-And because when the National Enq. originally broke the story, most of the media dismissed it as 'false'
So..., I presume that John Edwards will NOT be speaking at the DNC!

Good thing he already made his money, he'll never get another job.

I wouldn't bet the ranch on Edwards not bouncing back from this politically and financially. People tend to have short memories when it comes to affairs. Just look at Rudy Giuliani, he had an affair while still in office and he made a run for the Presidency. People have a memory akin to melting ice cubes!

Well, Rudy was forgiven due to his admirable leadership in NYC in the weeks following 9/11 attacks. He really did show his true talent to lead in a chaotic moment. Not sure what will it take for Edwards to be forgiven by the public.

Someone mentioned about McCain's unfaithfulness to his first wife. Not many people know that McCain agreed to take care of his first wife's medical expenses for as long as she lives as part of their divorce settlement. That's why you'll never hear her speak bad of McCain because she knows who pays for her medical expenses. This doesn't mean I approve of his unfaithfulness, but I thought that was quite gallant of him.

Back to topic, I saw the picture of the other woman with whom Edwards cheated. She isn't even pretty!! What a stupid, stupid, man!

Really sick that some people are making this a partisan issues. You should be ashamed. Making someone's marriage, a cancer patient's betrayal fodder for your political alliance? Disgusting no matter what side it comes from. Not to mention all the judging I'm seeing too. We're all human and we've all done things we regret, things that were wrong, things that hurt someone else.

Lets see.
1. Edwards was a litigation lawyer who used bad science to win big bucks.
2. Edwards is now a career politician.
How can any of this be a surprise to anyone. He is a bottom feeding scum bag on 2 counts. I didn't even have to dig deeper.
