Steve, I imagine that you have not yet experienced some situation in which someone, or some large corporation, simply "stepped all over you" without any regard to you or the laws. They may be betting on the fact that you may not be able to afford the time or money to do anything about it, or they simply just don't care, or whatever...

But, when it happens, it can upset your life terribly, even if it's just for a short while. So, you may then look at these lawyers a little differently...

I hope you find a lawyer that crushes them. I voted Rep first time than putting aside the Iraq lie I began to see corporations take "liberties" which were unreal and agree border criminal .
I would love to see them put on a tight leash as they have become in some cases the enemy of honest good people.
Best of luck to you and your friend

Well this is a great post. When you boil it down it is in fact the politicians who break their oaths, who sell their votes, who turn their rat tail backs on the voters. Next time vote for the other guy. and the next time as well until our elected officials get the hint they are easily fired.

Unfortunately, the "other guy" quickly becomes the same as the guy that you just voted out of office! The political process corrupts absolutely!

So what's next...concentration camps of "criminals"

The world as it looks closer at Iran is going to see what it's really like....or at least the people in power....They are loading the shotgun and placing it in their mouth...

The movie "Papillon" comes to mind...! There's a song that pretty much expresses my thoughts re the US justice system, it's "Beer for my Horses" by Willie Nelson and Toby Kieth! If you know it or can hear it, that does it for me!

Immediate appeal to the state's Superior/Supreme Court, decision within one year, re-appeal to the Governor, decision within 90 days, re-appeal to US Supreme Court, decision within current term, execution within 30 days! Fair enough?
